I first saw this watch at a box store for over $200. I liked the functions and large number size as I have gotten a tad older now. My last watch with an altimeter, barometer and compass was a tad hard to operate. Not this one. Easy to figure out even without the directions though the ones provided are ample. Plus I was able download a copy of for easy reference. The price at Amazon was great too. So far.

In the fifty five plus years I’ve been wearing watches this beauty is by far the most

multi faceted and interesting watches I’ve ever owned.

To begin with the instructions are so well written that even oldsters like myself can

understand what it is the manufacturer is talking about. And, the watch responds accordingly regardless of what mode you’re in.

No b/s this is plain and simply a wonderful watch. My only regret is that it’s the first Casio I’ve ever owned, sorry I was so late.

Casio is less than candid. I bought this watch as a wilderness tool. I am a Civil

Engineer, Surveyor, Hunter, outdoorsman. etc. The watch gave “reasonable” service

for about 12 months, and then the batteries needed replacement. LO AND BEHOLD!

One has to send the watch back to Casio for battery replacement. Not even a jeweler will attempt battery replacement and neither I nor any of my friends possess the

microscopic tools needed to disassemble the watch. Also, the Casio owner’s manual

directs one to return the watch to Casio. BAH, HUMBUG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Casio Men’s Pathfinder Triple Sensor Altimeter/Barometer/Digital Compass Watch #PAG40-3V

I got this watch because I wanted something different from what I had at the time. Because recently I’ve been outdoors a lot, having a watch with built in compass seemed like a great idea. Having barometer and altimeter on top of it was a great bonus, so I thought. My impressions of the watch are generally positive. The compass works that way it is advertised so I got what I wanted. However, the ‘extra’ bonus seems to be very problematic. Here is my advise to anyone buying it: do NOT trust the altimeter. I think that this watch would do much better without it. You might have as much luck in throwing a rock at a flying plane as with this watch getting a correct altimeter reading.

The watch comes in a plain cheap carton box, nothing to give someone as a gift already….the box doesnt look appealing at all.

The temperature reading is totally off. It has been off since I got it 2 weeks ago and now I have to figure out how to calibrate it. When it freezes outside it says it is 71 degrees F. Nice !!! I better check the compass and altitude meter !!!!!!

The watch looks ok, but I find the material used all TOO plastic….

Also the watch goes up to the year 2039 only …. so they know by then it will definitely be broken :-)

So in my opinion, this watch is nothing special !!!
